    • Dear NFMS & Oregon Council Clubs,
    Whether or not your club has a junior's group or not, I really wanted you all to see the second edition of the AFMS juniors newsletter, "Crack the News". This issue is absolutely fantastic! I do not remember kids when I was a kid, writing so beautifully and with such a freshness of spirit. They are really enjoying our hobby and it is exciting to read what these kids are writing about. Please remember, even if you don't have a formal juniors group in your club, but you do have families who bring their child with them to your meetings, these kids can receive the "Crack the News" newsletter for free. They can join in the fun and write articles for this newsletter too. Please spread this news to your club. I hope you will enjoy this newsletter as much as I have.     • The Next OCRMC Meeting

    Join us for the next meeting of the Oregon Council of Rock & Mineral Clubs council.

    When: The Oregon Council will hold our annual meeting at the Madras Rock and Gem Show on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1:00 pm. We will meet at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds (430 SW Fairgrounds Road) in the kitchen building next to the outdoor pavilion where we met last year. Minutes from our spring Sweet Home meeting were sent for your review last month. If you did not receive a copy, let me know and I will send one along. I will forward a proposed agenda for our annual meeting in due course. Thanks to everyone for your continued support of the Council.
