Treasure report and secretary minutes were approved as
read.
Geri Esch reported that she would like to find some one to take
over capitol case. She will remain until someone
else will take over. Below
is a list of things that she does besides being at the capitol when materials
are put
in the case:
- must keep copies of applications and have an updated list of which clubs
have displayed in the past.
- Keep current lists of clubs.
- Key to the case is kept with the office lady in charge of the visitors
center area.
- Capitol is not open on week ends. This is very hard for a working person
unless you have flexable hours or if someone is retired.
- Some one in the salem area would be best. The Capitol is open 8-4pm.
- Parking is .25cents for 20 minutes.
Tallmen is in
now until jan 2004.
Eugene mineral club will start in Jan 2004
A
discussion followed that we might change from three months to a longer period of
time for each club to leave
their material in the case. It would be easier
for the club and also for Geri. A motion was made and secoud to
extend for
six months each. Geri is flexable on the date to take out the material in case
of bad weather.
It was also discussed about having a sign in the capitol case
with the web site number so people can copy it
to find out more about the
club. lights were discussed again. there are plug in the case so if you want
more light the club could use that.
Meetings will remain the same.
